  • Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication details, collected when you sign up. Accounts are managed by our authentication provider, Clerk.
  • Organization and season data. Information you add to run your season, such as schedules, seat inventory, claims, approvals, and records of which team members and guests used which seats.
  • Payment information. When you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects and processes your payment details. We receive limited billing information (such as confirmation of payment and the last four digits of a card) but do not store full payment card numbers.
  • Usage and device information. Information about how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP address, browser, and device type, collected through our analytics provider, PostHog.
  • Communications. Information you provide when you contact us or that we include in transactional emails sent through our email provider, Resend.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • authenticate users and manage accounts and organizations;
  • process payments and manage plans;
  • send transactional messages, such as claim approvals and empty-seat reminders (on eligible plans);
  • understand how the Service is used so we can improve it and fix problems;
  • respond to your requests and provide customer support; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal bases and consent

We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law. In some cases we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, or on the necessity of processing to perform our contract with you. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function (for example, authentication cookies set by Clerk); others support analytics (for example, PostHog). You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. With third parties that process data on our behalf, including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), PostHog (product analytics), and Resend (transactional email). These providers are permitted to use personal information only to provide services to us.
  • Within your organization. Data you submit as part of running a season is visible to authorized members and administrators of your organization, consistent with how the Service works.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Season Seats, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

6. International transfers

Season Seats is based in Canada, and our service providers may store or process personal information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Where personal information is transferred outside your jurisdiction, it may be subject to the laws of those countries, and we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in a manner consistent with this Policy.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
